I have a sheet that I'd like to hide rows in based on zero values. However, the values in the rows change based on a category I select in a Form Control drop down. How can I make these rows appear and disappear without having to hide/unhide specific rows constantly?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Can you show us what your Form Control and data look like?

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.

And is there any VBA code behind the Form Control?
If so, can you post it here?

Sorry - it's a work issued laptop and I am prohibited from installing unauthorized add-ins :-/
Then can you at least post some screen shots so we can see what everything looks like?
Data structure is important in these types of questions, and we have no idea what your data looks like, or if you have any VBA code involved.
So please provide those details.

OK, just see your image now.
Where exactly is this Form Control drop-down?
Is it really a Form Control drop-down, or a filter, or Data Validation?
