Hello all,

I am trying to hide a range of dates until I am within 2 weeks then have them show up. For example: Jan 1-3, 2018, Feb 4 - 9, Mar 1-6, 2018 (with actual calendar days) to remain hidden on my worksheet (these are potential vacation days for me), then when I am within 2 weeks of the vacation day show up (as sort of an alert to me). Anyone have any ideas how I would do this?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
If your dates are "real excel dates" not justr texts which look like date to us ( Jan 1-3, 2018 is an example of such situation) you could use conditional formatting with the rule defined by formula, in a similar way to shown here: https://www.mrexcel.com/excel-tips/due-dates-with-conditional-formatting/ (it shows a bit outdated interface of excel 2003 but the idea is clearly the same). And to hibe dates, use in conditional formatting just white font color :-)
