I have a spreadsheet with a few hundred columns. Each column is a chemical, with the amount of that chemical released in the rows. I need to make this spreadsheet into a map. Right now, when you click on a point on the map, every chemical shows up with the amount of that chemical produced beside it. Most chemicals are not released, so when you click on the point, you see a table that is a few hundred rows long, showing values of zero beside the chemical. How can I hide/delete all columns that only have values of zero? and/or how can I hide/delete all cells within a column that have a value of zero?
I have access to excel 2007 and 2010. This webpage suggests seems to suggest that you have to use IFERROR in 2010 to do this:http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel-help/display-or-hide-zero-values-HP005199879.aspx . I don't quite understand how to use IFERROR to hide or delete cells
Thank you in advance
