I need to be able to hide a tab (and password protect it), but have a macro button on an unhidden tab that references cells on the hidden tab. Apparently, when the tab is hidden, the macro fails. Is there a way around this?

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Show us your macro. If you don't use Select or Activate in your macro, you should be able to read from a hidden worksheet.
