Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Unfortunately no - you can not link a query to a table in a relationship, per se.

But, you can use a Make Table query to create a table from a query.

Make a SELECT query and then use the toolbar button to covert it to a Make-Table - you'll need to select a tablename or type a new one.

What you *can* do with a query/table is to create a new query and make the query & table related to each other (JOIN) within that one query. You can also make a series of queries each based on previously existing queries. Even more complex, you can embed queries within queries (subqueries) but Access has some limitations concerning that.
