i am looking for some application which provides me better file search on LAN.
i just found some of the very good applications like Tageverything, Tagg Toll, Taggedfrog etc. through these application i can add various tags to a file (of any format) and later can also search for the tags. thus i dont need to remember the path or the file name, its simple great.
but the problem is this is not working well on LAN, each user has to create his/her own tag (even for the same file).
what i want is such an application through which i can assign tags to files which are available to all the users connected via LAN.
any suggestion is welcome.
