Hi, I'm a freshie access user.

I've created a form for my database, and within it, a sub-form, with data linked to a masterfield that is in the form.

I.e., the effect is that each time i switch a record, the info in the sub-form changes to match the data on my form.

However, it is pretty messy, as i get lots of headers and records numbers in the subform window.

It looks very neat when i use a listbox option.

however, the listbox option just shows the entire list of data - unlike the sub-form, it is not limited to data that matches the form only, as there is no Link Masterfields/ Link Child Fields option.

Is there any way i can do the linking using a listbox?

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
You could try hiding the fields you don't want to see. Try right-clicking the field, pick Hide, and save the form.
As for the headers, they are part of the interface. If you don't like the displayed headers you can change them -- go to Design view, click the label in the Form Header section, and change the name.
If that still doesn't solve your problem, see http://www.mrexcel.com/board2/viewtopic.php?t=67600 it covers Combo boxes but the texhnique is the same for ListBoxes.
