Hello. I am trying to import a webpage and its tables into excel

I use the data tab, then from web, and import the webpage

When I do this, the web view on the pop-up displays the webpage perfectly. Note - It does have the "table highlighting is disabled because...."

On this webpage, there is a sectoin where there are many top level folders with names. When you click a folder name, it shows the items within it

The table view however only shows the folder names, it does not show any of the items within each folder

The issue this causes is when I try to gather the data I can never get to the items within each folder

for example:
on the webpage:
folder Buffalo
folder Rochester

if you select Buffalo, items like Amherst, Williamsville, etc will be shown

I can't upload an image because I'm at work at can't download any of the programs to do it.

I am fairly good at VB and I can use this importing of a webpage to show just the folder names, but I can never drill down to get the items within each folder.

Does this make sense? Hope so! Thanks

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
