Hi:

Column O
200
600
510

Column P
51015150
50812500
10001000
20001000
10325450

I am looking for a formula:
If O12=200, 600, 510 "do not tag", if (left(P12,3)=510, 508, 103, 1*, 2*, "not not tag","tag"

1* are numbers starting with 1
2* are numbers starting with 2

Could you help please?

Thanks

Regards,

Sean

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
If O12=200, 600, 510 "do not tag", if (left(P12,3)=510, 508, 103, 1*, 2*, "not not tag","tag"

I am not understanding what you are asking here. Please explain step by step what you want to happen. Use If- then statements. Do not use excel terms or attempted formulas.

Sorry about that.

If O12 is equal to 200, 600, 500 then do not tag, if first three numbers in P12 is equal to 510, 508, 103 then do not tag, if the first number in P12 begins with 1 or 2 then do not tag, all other numbers tag

Regards,

Sean
