I have an excel tracker that has a list of prospective customer and customers it has all their information and I added a column for expected revenue (I1-I32) and then Generated sale (J1-J32) which the sales rep will enter Y for Yes or N for No

I have a total column at the bottom - I have summed up the I column for possible revenue and now I want to generate a total for all the prospective customers/customers that made a purchase in dollars - so if any of the cells J1-J32 = Y then it sums up the possible revenue from just the yes's

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
Try
=SUMIF(J1:J32,"Y",I1:I32)
