Help with Query

I have a date field called [Date Shipped] it returns 20041221 for example. What I want to do is be able to select the month only in this case 12, so it pulls all the month 12 data.

Hi

Modify your query by adding a new field as follows :

Mid([Date Shipped],5,2) and set the criteria for this field to "12" (without the quotes).

This query will now return all records where the month is 12. Be aware that it will also include records from previous years where the month number is also 12 (if you have data more than 1 year old).

If you want a varying month number each time you run the query, then rather than changing the query each time change the criteria from "12" to [Enter the month number (format nn)]
