hello
i need help with figuring out a formula to prorate a persons sales for the year (based on monthly)

if column A had for example 735,556 and this person had come on in February- how would i pro rate their sales ?

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
If the spread sheet has a sales persons start date you could use networkdays and as such divide the sales value by worked days

Annualized = 12 / (months worked) * (sales for year)
