Help with Plus or Minus Formula

Hello Dear sir,

In this sheet I have A2:A7 and B2:B7 has amount that either plus or minus.
I want my correct answer in second Image, so which formula can I put in C2 ??

A yellow Highlighted is manually typed answer by me.

Hello, based on your sample it would be this:

=IF(AND(A2<0,B2<0),A2-B2,A2+B2)

But is it a general rule that when both are lower than 0 it is A - B and in every other case it is A + B?
