Anyone else into fantasy sports? This year for our fantasy football draft, I'm attempting to use similar methodology to the NHL and NBA drafts. I posted about it on Reddit just trying to get the general methodology understood, but now I need to figure out the "how-to" portion. Can anyone give me some ideas about how I can complete the following? Randomly assign numbers 1 through 1000 to 10 different teams using weighting. For the purpose of this scenario, let's say the weightings are as follows: Remove one of the teams, recalculate the weightings, the redistribute the numbers using the updated weightings. Repeat the last step until all spots are selected. Thank you!

Can anyone give me some ideas about how I can complete the following?

Randomly assign numbers 1 through 1000 to 10 different teams using weighting.
