Help with macro to sum two rows for YTD

HI,

I am trying to create a macro to sum numbers to YTD cells. So I am tryind to do the following:

let say in A1:F1, i have the following value:

A1 B1 C1 D1 E1 F1
1 2 3 4 5 6

my YTD row has the following numbers:
A5 B5 C5 D5 E5 F5
6 5 2 6 4 2

now I want my YTD row to add the number in the cell with the values in row 1.

For instance:

A5 (YTD) is now 7 6+1 =7

B5 (YTD) is now 7 5+2 = 7

C5 is now 5 3+2=5

etc....

can someone help? i hope i make sense.

Apparently I did not make any sense in my previous post. So lets try again. I am trying to create a row that will hold YTD data. everytime I update lets say row 1, I would like the value of row 1 to be added to the value in the YTD row. i know it is possible but I cant figure how to create the code for it. please help! this will save me alot of time very month.
