Ok, so mine is pretty simple, but I haven't done it before and am getting stressed trying to look..

- I have Sheet 1 and 2.
- Sheet 1 Cell 2A has a drop down list of data that is on Sheet 2 B1
- On Sheet 1 Cell 2B I want to be 'If Sheet 2 Cell B1 is selected then B2 goes in to Sheet 1 Cell 2B'.

Ok, it sounded simple in my head until I started explaining it - perhaps I've overcomplicated it..

Let me know!

Thanks

Nikki

Welcome to MrExcel.

Is it is a case of Sheet1 B2 = the list item below that selected in Sheet1 A2 ?????

If so then....
If Sheet2 DV list is name as e.g. 'BList'

Excel 2007
AB
2Item4Item5
Sheet1
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
B2=IFERROR(INDEX(BList,MATCH(A2,BList,0)+1,),"")
Named Ranges
NameRefers ToCells
BList=Sheet2!$B$1:$B$10

Hope that helps.
