I would like for a user to click on a contract number in a dataset and have it open a form using a filter on the contract number. Is this possible?

I have a form that displays all the contract details and the key filed in "contract ID". I have a dataset the user views all their contracts assigned to them with a column for contractID. If a user wants to see more details on that contract I want them to be able to just click on the contract number.

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
It most definitely is possible.

Try adding a command button to the form listing the contracts.

Access should guide you via a wizard to create code to open a form.

You can then adapt this code to open the form according to the ID.
