Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
what do you mean by user defined function?

Like =SUM, =VLOOKUP or =SUMIF or any other formula that excel provide you can build your own Formula in Visual Basic as per your requirement.

Google "User Defined Fucntion in Excel" for more details

Well... Post something like this:

"How can I get the Vlookup Value of the next Item in my table, if the lookup Value of my Vlookup is 0. i.e, If the Ans of Vlookup is 0 then my formula should search for next lookup_value in my table_array. Is it possible.

Eg.
Table

<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="128"><colgroup><col style="width:48pt" span="2" width="64"> </colgroup><tbody><tr style="height:15.0pt" height="20"> <td style="height:15.0pt;width:48pt" height="20" width="64">abc</td> <td style="width:48pt" align="right" width="64">0</td> </tr> <tr style="height:15.0pt" height="20"> <td style="height:15.0pt" height="20">rty</td> <td align="right">2</td> </tr> <tr style="height:15.0pt" height="20"> <td style="height:15.0pt" height="20">asd</td> <td align="right">0</td> </tr> <tr style="height:15.0pt" height="20"> <td style="height:15.0pt" height="20">qwe</td> <td align="right">12</td> </tr> <tr style="height:15.0pt" height="20"> <td style="height:15.0pt" height="20">abc</td> <td align="right">34</td> </tr> <tr style="height:15.0pt" height="20"> <td style="height:15.0pt" height="20">uio</td> <td align="right">21</td> </tr> </tbody></table>
so in the above table =VLOOKUP("abc",A:B,2,0) should be 34 and not 0."

Edit it as per you requirement.
