I have 07/01/2011 in cell a2. What is the formula that I can put in b2 that will return the date one year back in the past? So, I suppose in this case, 07/01/2010?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
I tried the formula below but it returned an error stating it was too few arguments.

=DATE(YEAR(CN2)-1),MONTH(CN2),DAY(CN2))
