I have a very difficult task of putting averaging daily returns into months. The problem is that I have to look through 2430 * 10 rows month by month and put in average (H1:H30) is there a way so that it would automatically calculate average from 02/11/2005 to 30/11/2005 - the point is that despite the actual day it should calculate for one month, so sometimes it will be 1st to 28th.
Dates are in collumn A and need to put average at the end of each month in column I
I have rather limited knowledge in excel functions as well as programming, so would be extremely grateful if someone could help.
