G'Day Excel Gurus

Column X of my worksheet has 236 rows of Restaurant Physical Address Info in the format below:

excel-forum.jpg

The general data format of the Address shows the Restaurant Name, followed by the Physical Address, seperated by a comma.

Anyone care to share a Excel Function to remove the Restaurant Name from the Data & ONLY display the Physical Address ?

The 1st Comma ( from the Left ) in the Text can be used in the logic to formulate the Function - ie remove Left Chars up-to & including the 1st Comma from left.

Note: the space btwn the 1st comma & Kilimani Mall

Final Result:

Kilimani Mall, 2nd Floor , Opposite Yaya Centre , Tigoni Road , Kilimani Estate , Nairobi City , Nairobi County , Nairobi Province , Kenya , & , House Of Mandi , 8th Street , Eastleigh , Nairobi City , Nairobi County , Nairobi Province , Kenya

Thanks in Advance.

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Assuming your data starts in row 1:
VBA Code:
Sub RemoveChar()
    Application.ScreenUpdating = False
    Dim rng As Range
    For Each rng In Range("X1", Range("X" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp))
        rng = Mid(rng, WorksheetFunction.Find(",", rng) + 2)
    Next rng
    Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub

What version of Excel are you using?

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

If you have 365 with the textafter function, you could also use
Excel Formula:
=TEXTAFTER(X2,", ")
