i need to potray below table in a dynamic chart on excel.
FPS Pilot CitySanctioned
( A )
Disbursed
( B )
E_Mandate
( C )
Rejected
( D )
In Process
( E )
Total
( =A+C+D+E )
A12520115
J9230214
G12121015
H151200015
Total482071359

Challenges - Disbursed column is to stacked inside sanctioned column
&
both totals - across rows and columns are to be shown somehow

One single chart is preferred but if not possible, then two charts can be made out of this

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Take the FPS Pilot City Rows as Ah, Ja, Gh, Hy
This is to avoid any confusion

I have worked on it a bit. I now just want the 'Disbursed' column to be highligted inside the 'Sanctioned' column

A reminder:

Cross-posting (posting the same question in more than one forum) is not against our rules, but the method of doing so is covered by #13 of the Forum Rules.

Be sure to follow & read the link at the end of the rule too!

Cross posted at:

There is no need to repeat the link(s) provided above but if you have posted the question at other places, please provide links to those as well.

If you do cross-post in the future and also provide links, then there shouldn’t be a problem.

I haven't put the total line on but is this something like what you're looking for?

To make this graph you need to insert some dummy columns - sanctioned and disbursed make a "pair", and you need to insert additional columns to make a pair with each of the others as shown in highlight below.
Book1
ABCDEFGHIJ
1SanctionedDisbursedE_MandateDummy_MandateRejectedDummy_RejectedIn ProcessDummy_InProcessTotal
2( A )( B )( C )( D )( E )( =A+C+D+E )
3A12520115
4J9230214
5G12121015
6H151200015
7Total482071359
Sheet4

Now select the range A1:J7 and insert a 2D clustered column chart. Click on the chart and under Chart Design->Data Group you will probably need to click Switch Row/Column. Now select any series, right-click and select Change series chart type, and for the disbursed series and all the 'dummy' series check the box to put them on the secondary axis. For the 'total' series, change the type to 'Line with markers'.

Finally, change the secondary axis bounds to match those of the primary axis (i.e. 0 to 60) and format the various series how you want them to appear.

Solution
Forgot to add, delete the unwanted legend entries by clicking the legend, then click the specific legend entry and press Delete.
