I am in need of the following equation to be converted into a formula (Surface Integral). More specifically, this one. It is to calculate the surface area of a rounded area of a mesh. I am going to be writing VBA code to handle this, which I am quite competent in doing, but looking at calculus formulas... not so much. To put it simple, I would like help to decipher the calculation and converting it into an Excel formula for a cell.

I can provide sample data and a mesh, and I do not need the whole thing calculated. I just need to see how one is done and I can complete the rest on my own.

Many thanks,
