Hello,

I have two tables say "source-table" and "target-table". The fields in both are nearly the same. I have corresponding two forms "st-form" and "tt-form" - both forms are "Continuous forms" default views but in appearance they are like a Datasheet - the reason being the presence of two Memo fields in both tables which may run into many lines.

My intention is this:

I would like to display both "st-form" and "tt-form" parallely where I display records in the "source-table" on "st-form" and offer the user a check box against each record. Based on whether the check box for a record is selected, I copy the record from the "source-table" into the "target-table". As a matter of confirmation, I would like to display the "tt-form" after the update in the table has been effected using a "refresh" of "tt-form".

My problem is that when I check one check box to select one record Check boxes of all records get selected. and vice versa when I uncheck any check box.

Is there a way / work around to ensure only the check box of the selected record is selected each time?

Thanks in advance.

Uttam

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Controls on a continuous form are all the same control for every record, you will probably need to add a field to your table and check that. You could then use this field to filter by to do the transfers.
