Hi
i have a formula that returns the correct result
=IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH(A2,V8:V13,0)),IF(A2=B2,"eombh","bh"),IF(A2=B2,"eom","normal"))
A2 = a date
V8:V13 is a column of dates
however i want to introduce another variable (system)
=IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH(1,(A6=BH!A2:BE2)*(A2=BH!A3:BE15),0)),IF(A2=B2,"eombh","bh"),IF(A2=B2,"eom","normal"))
A6 = system
BH!A2:BE2 = bank holiday sheet listing system a .... system x
A2= a date
BH!A3:BE15 = all the bank holidays for the systems
so what i really want the formula to do is look up the system in A6 then match that to a column in BH!A2:BE2 then look at the date in A2 and see if this date is in the corresponding column for the system within this range BH!A3:BE15
can anyone help me out?
