Hi all,

I am trying to devise a formula where I can filter my Excel sheet by Letter (Column F) so that the Average (Cell L12) will update to only account for the filtered results (the Average is taken from the Diff numbers in Column L).

Does that make sense?

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Another option
Excel Formula:
=SUBTOTAL(101,L2:L11)
