If any of these cells contains a "15" add them up as ones F8:F15

So...

F8 15
F9
F10
F11 15
F12
F13 15
F14
F15

F20 (formula) 1+1+1 =3

i can do it one cell at a time but how do I add them up?: =IF(F8=15,1,)

Excel Facts

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Hi,

You would use COUNTIF:

Book1
F
815
9
10
1115
12
1315
14
15
16
17
18
19
203
Sheet386
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
F20=COUNTIF(F8:F15,15)
