HELP - Trying to Create something new :)

Good Morning :)

I have been tasked by my boss to revamp a document that all of the team currently have to complete on a monthly basis! but I literally have no idea where to start :(

Basically, the document consists of 10 areas, and inside those 10 areas, there may be 4 or 5 items that the team must complete this year. each area must equal 100%, so when they have done 1 or 2 of the areas etc, the percentage needs to start adding up, so that we can see where everyone is.

I feel like this shouldn't be too much of a task, but i'm useless at getting document started- but really want to impress my boss!

Can anyone offer any help at all? please let me know if I need to explain this further!

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Start by creating a spreadsheet with headings of those 10 areas, then fill in the 4 or 5 items which the team must complete this year. Hopefully, we can suggest the next step.

I have done this :)
any suggestions on what to do next?
if I can get a basic template to begin with (this is required by the 4th of April!!)
then I can improve on it after this date ready for the 4th May!

Hi,

I don't think the excel document looks good so far, but I have it written down the kind of thing i'm interested in.

I am struggling to add a picture or anything ( I think because I am on a work computer) so I have detailed it below:

Manual Handling - 4 Questions - all equal 25% each which will total 100%. I thought if I write the question, and then have a tick box or a yes/no box, then when they click yes, it automatically adds the 25% on?

Safe Systems of work - 5 Questions - all equal 20% which will total 100%. again I thought if I write the 5 questions and have a way for them to answer it, then it would automatically add up to the 100%?

does this make sense to you sorry?
