I'm not an Excel expert and my HelpDesk hasn't been able to figure it out either so I searched for experts, and this forum came up! Here is my issue:
I'm trying to solve for the cell "????" below. The 2 cells above it are entered so I'm trying to find the July 2018 row that has the date 7/25/19 in it.
7/25/19 falls in July 2018 Term 4, August 2018 Term 3, and October 2018 Term 3 but I need that cell to look at A1 and A2 and populate with the corresponding Term (Term 4 in this example).
I've tried to use INDEX MATCH, and IFLOOKUP, and INDEX MATCH IF and I can't seem to find the right combination to consistently return the correct result.
Any ideas on a formula??
