Help to change file format in macro

Hi,

I am using the below macro to spilt my original workbook into many different workbooks and the macro works perfectly but I have two questions.

The first and main on is: Is there any way I can save the new files in .xls format instead of the format of my original file which is macro enabled.? (the macros don't copy over and don't need to)

My second question is instead of copying the entire worksheet can I just copy over for example Columns A:J, if not this is not an issue!

Hi Afoley,

for the .xls format, check out Ron de Bruins' site: Create a workbook from every worksheet in your workbook
And for only saving a part: you could create a new workbook and copy only columns A:J to the first worksheet of that new workbook or you could just create the file as you do and delete all columns after column J, both options work.
