Help required in linking sheets!

Hello,

My source sheet contains a huge set of data spread across 5 different sub-sheets within it (average of 5000 line items per sheet). The output analysis (using sumproduct formula) from these sheets are formulated into an output sheet which is a seperate excel file. The problem I am facing is ;If I open only the output sheet (which is what is my intention as this sheet will be used to display numbers to the end user), I get an error message as "Excel cannot complete this task with the available resources. Choose less data or close other applications". After this message the cells show an error as #REF!. Can you please help in rectifying this problem. Again I only want the end user to use the output sheet and not the source sheet. Thanks in advance.

Hi I would suggest you, istead of putting formula in differenct workbook you can use same source workbook & hide the sheets containing data...

Thanks. BUt that makes the sheet heavier than it already is.
