I am using Office 97.

I cannot figure out how to use MS Access VBA to post an existing excel file to a public folder in Outlook. This can be done manually by dragging the excel file from an explorer window to the public folder in Outlook, but I need to do this programmatically. I am able to use Access to run several queries and transfer the data to excel, open the excel object and format the "report", and email the report via an attachment in Outlook. Some of these reports are rather large, so I began to copy the reports to a public folder and then email the link. Since I cannot figure out how to transfer the excel file I created to Outlook using automation, my automated tasks now require a manual step to transfer the excel file to the proper Outlook Public Folder.

Can anyone help?!?
