Hi Guys.
I realise most of my wishes are available separately but I can’t find a solution to have them all at the same time.

I am self-taught and have been adapting a workbook for some months now.
My current challenge is to have the functions A through to E; I have already got A) working to a fashion.

A) Using VLOOKUP to select from a large list of clients their name,
address, code and phone numbers and insert that into a separate
worksheet. As I said this is already working.

B) To have the long list reduce as I type, to go to S when I type S for Smith, is this called auto update.

C) To be able to clarify the correct selection as, if you can imagine, if
there were more than one client of the same name which one would you
pick.
If the surname and address could also be shown selection would be more accurate.

D) To be able to append this list if the client was missing, adding the
first name, surname, address lines, code and phone numbers.

E) Could this client list be external from the current template?

Although
I use a Win.10 pc to complete the pre prepared invoice using macros, it
is originally created from a template workbook on an android smart
phone. The smart phone uses android "WPS" office software app, which currently does not support macros.

The phone will however run vba code, I am not sure
why vba code does not fall under the banner of a macro, is not a macro,
vba code?

The point I am making is any suggestion you may have
would need to take into account the inability to run a macro on the
smart phone.

Thanking you in advance for taking the time to read this .

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
