Hi,
I need a bit of help, I would appreciate any guidance given. I've been learning excel as I go but I haven't been able to figure this out.
I'm trying to do this so I don't need to retype the same things over and over.
this data is an example
What I'm looking to do is have a formula reference what is in A2-A5 and for the data in each of those cells return text after the comma in the sentence of A6.
for example, A2 shows Jimmy returned 30, so the sentence in A6 should show something like this
"Jimmy bought 30 apples, Jimmy later brought back 30 apples to the store"
to go a bit further, another example
A2-A5 has multiple variables now, so I'd like the sentence to include all those variables
"Jimmy bought 150 apples, Jimmy later brought 50 apples home, brought back 50 apples to the store and ended up selling 50 apples to other people."
The data is simplified but essentially works the same way.
Any tips, help or guidance given to get me started I would greatly appreciate.
