Hi -
I'm trying to produce an Excel based Invoice template that has some pretty specific requirements in terms of it's layout, cell sizes and positioning on the page when printed out.
I need to be able to printout - perfectly centred on an A4 sheet - a grid of equally sized cells (so in effect ending up with an A4 sheet that looks like graph paper).
I need a border around this grid measuring the following once printed:
Border Top and Bottom of page = 12.914mm
Border Left and Right of page = 12.353mm
And within those borders a grid of cells measuring the following once printed:
15 Columns
42 Rows
Each cell measuring 12.353mm wide X 6.457mm high
(If you add the rows and columns together and add on the border measurements you'll see it totals 210mm wide x 297mm high... i.e. an A4 sheet of paper.)
And here's how it should look when printed out at 100% onto A4:
Again those border measurements and cell measurements given above should remain exactly in pro on the printed page.
But i can't get the darn thing to work! Excel seems to add it's own additional borders to the document in odd places meaning the printout is either completely off centre or is missing rows and columns.
I even tried it on an inkjet printer that can print A4 borderless (in case it was the printer adding these borders) but still nothing.
Any ideas or is anyone capable of setting this template up?
Thanks.
