Hi everyone. Just joined the forum and have been searching the past 3 days for an answer on how to make possible combinations out of a bunch of 2 pair numbers. Haven't used Excel in a very very long time so I'm basically a beginner.
I extracted pairs of numbers from the three different tables (47, 71, 41, 92...) With all these pairs, I want to make 3 digit combinations (477, 471, 417, 714, 441, 741, 174, 474, 492, 792 ect...)
And after the numbers are extracted I would like to highlight or somehow show all the repeat combinations regardless of the number order (471, 417, 714..) OR calculate the number of times a certain repeat number comes up.
I've been trying to do this for the past few days and just can't seem to figure it out. I've looked at the Combination and Permutation formulas and am so confused.
Any help? I attached a screenshot and a link to the spreadsheet. https://1drv.ms/x/s!Aq787m3RYbucgRLzIMQzjKWBEwLb
