Help- locked out!!

I hid the starup dialgue box, but now I cannot get it to show again. I appear to be locked out of everything. What can I do?

As a guess, he either 'hid' the database (Window Menu-Hide) or turned off the DB's on startup load form (Tools Menu-Startup).

Haven't done those in awhile, but I know the feeling. Sure seems like 5 minutes after I post a question about a problem (problem I've been working on for hours/days) I figure out the answer on my own.

Never understood why that happens, unless the act of verbalizing (typing) the problem up in a clear fashion to explain to others helps me re-organize my thinking.

I do believe that "bouncing" a problem onto another person many times brings out the solution in our own minds. Maybe, as you seem to imply, in trying to explain the problem to others, we are doing an in-depth review, which then "shows" us the solution? Whatever the reason, I agree that, many times, it works!

That's exactly what I'm thinking.

I have a tendency to ramble - well, not a tendency. It seems to be a built-in non-optional feature. Sometimes I've been acccused of talking to hear myself speak. I think, what I'm actually doing is thinking out loud and working through my problem.

Same thing applies to typing out questions. In nearly all my posts, I end up writing a long text, and then I go back and trim it down to the essentials, sometimes retyping the entire thing multiple times.
