help in setting up database

hi,

i need to put lot # and the intermediate steps (Steps A, B, C) lots into a data base. here is the challenge. for example, Lot #1 may contain intermediate lots A1 and A2.

do i need to make prepare the following tables:
lot#
Lot Step A
Lot Step B
Lot Step C

your help will be appreciated.
