i am trying to figure out where i messed this up. if my formula was working correctly my table in custom hours should read the total sum of hours starting and ending on the dates in d6 and e6. custom gathered is where i have a lot of the formulas sorting the data and Jan is one of the sheets that is the raw data source. it looks like i have something wrong with jan since the date range i have set up has the entire month in it but the hours added in cell d4 of custom data gathered doesn't match the total hours shown in ah4 in jan. any help would be appreciated. i am starting to go cross-eyed looking at it trying to find my error

Hi,
Your formula in sheet custom data gathered cell D4 do a sumifs from A to AA but your data stop at AG. That's why you are missing some hours of january
