Hi-

My job in the future is going to require me to write a lot of queries in Access. I need to delvelop a good understanding on how to filter and query databases to return records that meet certain criteria.

So I would like to know if there is a good resource to help me understand Access Operators, Identifiers and Expressions. The help built into access provides some information on this, but not exactly what they are, it just describes the certain types that exist. What I would like is a list of all the operators that i could type into the criteria field and how to use them, i.e.,

= equals sign u this to......

I need to be able to compare data and take data from one table and combine it with a table that still has all the same information, but has more than the first.

I know i can accomplish this through a query but i would like to learn how to write the expression language, the main point is to learn about query and filter language for my use down the road...

Help!

Thanks
