OK, so I dont know what Ive done, everything was going swimmingly until i tried to create a 'Find' button on 4 of the forms in my database. The first one worked fine, but then i accidentally named the 2nd button the same as the 1st. I dont know if this is relevant, but after I'd done 4 buttons on different forms they stopped working.

When i looked in the code i noticed that the code was pointing to the 'Edit' menu bar, item 10. When i looked in Edit, i only have 4 things left in there and no Find option and that was the full extent of the menu.

Where did it go, and how can i restore it? any ideas. My other databases are fine, its just this one.....

Any help would be gratefully received

THanks

Clare

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Hi Clare,

I'm not sure if this will help but there are a couple of articles on the MS knowledge base that might (or might not) help you here and here.

Also, have you tried deleting the macros (if that is how you built them) for the custom menu and starting again?

Please advise if you still need help.

Cheers, Andrew. :)
