I need help with a formula. I have a range of values I need to divide into 4 similar totals (doesn't need to be exact) based on the average of the total.
Example: the range below has a total of 2,456. Divided by 4, the average is 614. I need a quick way to look at these values and put them in 4 different groups where the total is close to 614 in each group.
The story here is these numbers represent the number of customers in a market. I have 4 new sellers and I need to give them similar size customer books of business to call.
I have to do this with a lot of different ranges and I was hoping to find a formula to help me take the manual work out of this.
