New to Excel & this amazing forum. Looking for some help creating a spreadsheet. Hopefully one of the gurus here can help me out.

I want to create a spreadsheet of a specific stock or ETF that pulls data from Yahoo Finance. I've attached a picture to this thread of how I would like the spreadsheet to look.

I have no problem using the STOCKHISTORY function or linking Yahoo Finance to a spreadsheet to display the information shown in the picture I've attached. The trouble I'm having is making a spreadsheet that will auto-update a new row daily & only when the market is open.

The stock market is closed on wknds, holidays & during national times of crisis. So I only want the spreadsheet to update when new information is updated from Yahoo FInance or STOCKHISTORY.

Is there a way to make a spreadsheet that automatically adds a new row & populates information pulled from Yahoo Finance or using the STOCKHISTORY function for each day the market is open while adding to the previous day(s) data?

I appreciate anyones time who can help me realize this spreadsheet. Cheers!!

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
You don't need to pull anything from Yahoo - you can create same data in Excel 365 using Data Tab and then Stocks as I have highlighted in the uploaded screenshot. Simple

Appreciate the input, but STOCKHISTORY doesnt include the adjusted price after dividends. This is why I was hoping to find a way to use the data pulled form Yahoo finance.
