Hi
I have a large data base that has duplicate data on several rows - except for a single cell value.
I need to copy this one unique cell to the cell after the row below (that has the 'near identical' data).
Its not just 'cut and paste to one cell down and one cell across' as sometime there are 3 rows of repeated data (and hence 3 unique cell values I need).
Other than just dragging the cell value across (which is going to take forever as there is so much data) is there a simple way of either automatically selecting to cut and paste across?
Regards
and thanks

Joe

Sorry

I would just like this sort of arrangement
The value in column 3 tells me if the similar rows relate to each other and thus should be brought together into a single row. Sometime there are 3 or 4 rows with the end cell being the only difference but these needing to be merged into a single row.
Ive tried using a macro to cut and paste one cell across and one cell down but I just can t get it to work as Im a real novice at this sort of thing.

Thanks for your time on this.
