Help complicated excel question

Is there a way to take a spreadsheet that has 8 full pages of file numbers. Then have those numbers searched on a different spreadsheet that has 9000 pages used as a database. on the database spreadsheet the file numbers are listed on the G column. Then have all the matches highlighted on the database. then is there a way to take the highlighted file numbers onto a new spreadsheet. THANKS A TON TO WHOM CAN HELP.
