Hello all,

I have a large table that is created when people sign up their kids for a sports program at our kids school. This data then is imported into an excel file. I would like to take this large data dump and break it into additional tabs based on the grade they are in with a simple view.

The initial report has parents numbers, addresses, lots of info. I want to simply it to only show their name, grade, and other immediate information needed.

Its been awhile since I played in excel and experimented with different avenues but cant seem to find one that works best.

To me, the most complicated part is that if there is more than one kid being signed up, their information is on the same row. So if I have 10 lines of data, I could have 12 kids because two families have an additional little one being signed up. I uploaded an example file to my website for download. It has the shell and notes of what I am trying to accomplish.

I found a youtube video that is ALMOST exactly what I want to happen. It auto updates because of a table, the problem is that this video ports over all the data and I only want certain ones.

Still a cool video on the subject.

Any help is appreciated, we are all volunteers just trying to allow the kids to have fun and learn new skills - thank you!

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
