Hello everyone, a question about your experience with this malware - -

I'm helping out my parents whose computer is besieged by the kind of constant malware pop-up shown by the picture. I can connect to their computer remotely to maybe eradicate the malware with suggested fixes I see on line.

However, more than anything, I trust first-hand experience and advice from anyone who's actually had this happen to them and fixed it. Have you ever seen this particular strain of malware on your computer, and if so, how did you get rid of it?

Thanks everyone!

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Update -- All fixed ! Soon after I posted this question my parents were fortunate to have a neighbor drop by for a visit, who coincidentally had the same malware infection last month and knew how to deal with it. He used a free download on Cnet here and it did the trick. Done deal.

For what it's worth, the $25 is well spent on an active subscription.
