hi guys,

I am trying to find the harmonic mean for the range X10:X1329, but only want to include rows where AE10:AE1329 = "W"

When I have resolved that I want to move it further forward by adding a 2nd condition, ie, A:A meets the same data in cell R1338.

Any ideas, I have tried if formula but keep getting value errors

Any steer appreciated

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
{=harmean(if(ae10:ae1329 = "w", x10:x1329))}

{=harmean(if((a10:a1329 = r1338) * (ae10:ae1329 = "w"), x10:x1329))}
