Thanks everyone for your good wishes!
Yes =ROW(A2)^5*1.375 this year. The candles won't even fit on the birthday cake (it is a really tiny cake...)
This morning, my 14 year old son Zeke came down and wished me a happy birthday. To show the difference three years can make, a few minutes later, my 17 year old son Josh walked in with the following conversation:
Josh: Hey - is it your birthday today?
Bill: Yes it is.
Josh: 44. You are old.
That was it. No "happy birthday". No "have a good day". Just "you are old". Next time he wants to borrow the car, I will tell him I am too old to remember where the keys are!
My big plans for this afternoon are to go out and renew my drivers license so I can get through airport security tomorrow. (Somehow, the older you get, the less exciting the plans become...)
Thanks again to everyone here!
Bill
