Hall of Fame: Links are not pointing to correct threads!

Maybe it is noted and being worked upon. Please ignore if so.

The links are not correct. I have not checked all of them but these two could be referred:

It isn't only Hall of Fame links. There are links throughout the forum that no longer work. I think you will find that any link that contains ".../board2/..." (as is the case in the threads you refer to) no longer works. That is, they work, but take you to the wrong place.
This has been asked about previously and as far as I am aware, there is no way to now work out where the links should be pointing to.
I had saved links to many of my "favourite" threads and many of those threads are now lost to me.

Thanks for the reply and information. That changes few more things for me.

In the past, I've posted links [in some other forums] to MrExcel's forum to explain a formula construction. Some of them will not work as well.
